In this era of electronization, writing is a kind of delight.
Originated from the 16th century, wax seal stamp was used by European nobility or royal family to seal an envelope.
Its pattern could also be used for identification.
There are also wax seal stamps made of family crests.
Now, wax seal has become one of the delights of DIY.
There are total six styles of wax seal stamps with patterns combining the “words of plants” with postmark.
You can choose to affix them on “Reprocessed Handmade Paper.”
And of course, you can use them on envelopes for a greeting card or invitation card.

Usage of the Wax Seal Stamp:
1.You can purchase a “blank ink pad” with no ink, and pour a little bit salad oil on it; then slightly dip the head of stamp into the salad oil every time you use the wax seal stamp, as oil can make it easier to remove the wax as well as protecting the brass head.
2.Pour the liquid wax at an appropriate place after a wax block or wax stick is heated and melted, and then affix the wax seal stamp on the wax, and wait for five seconds approximately for it to cool down; then take the stamp up.
3.You can use an “oil-based pen or sealing wax cream” to make the pattern more conspicuous.
Points for Attention:
1.There is no need to use the wax seal stamp, you can keep it in a carton or a storage box, so that it can be kept dry, its chance of oxidization due to the contact with air for a long period of time can be decreased, and the collision which leads to the damage of the brass head can be avoided.
2.The material of the head of the stamp is brass; it is normal that it will oxidize gradually owing to contacting the air.
